Located 4 miles south of I-70, near Boonville, Missouri, Everview Farms is a picturesque place with pastoral views to the east and west. The victorian home, built in 1890 by farmers Robert Barnett and Alice Johnston, has been thoughtfully cared for throughout the century.

Everview is now owned by Tao and Persephone Lundolos. We are proud to offer the region seasonal, organically grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, as well as homemade jams, candies, canned and baked goods, handmade soaps, salves and tinctures.

About us

History of Everview

Perched high on a hill in Cooper County, MO, Everview was first a homestead for rural farmer John Benoni Johnston. In 1888, John’s son Robert B. Johnston inherited the property and commissioned W.J. Cochran to build his wife Alice a proper victorian home. The house features 4 bedrooms, two parlors, dining room and great room. The Johnston’s served as benefactor for Frog Pond School, a one-room school house just down the road. The teacher would reside in the Johnston’s front-most bedroom with private access.

The land provides

Everview was potentially an encampment for Native Americans, who resided in the area until white settlers began receiving land grants around 1835. The Johnston family eventually accumulated over 400 acres of farm land by 1890 including Everview. Farming, in the early part of the century was incredibly hard work. But the land at Everview is second to none and provided for the family, farmhands, and the community.

A new era

When we purchased Everview in 2019, it had been well cared for and was clearly loved by many. With a passion for sustainable gardening, Tao has grown the gardens and orchard while Seph helps with preserving it all. Owing to the traditions and those that came before us, we grow small and focus on quality over quantity.
