What started as a simple love for the taste of homegrown fruit has blossomed into a passion we are thrilled to share with you. Our Roots
Our journey began in 2008 when Tao Lundolos planted his first garden, sparking a fascination with edible plants that would shape the next two decades. After earning his Permaculture Design Certification in 2010, Tao’s interest evolved from a hobby into a dedicated pursuit of horticultural excellence. He spent years experimenting with propagation techniques, trialing new varieties, and learning exactly which plants thrive in our Midwest climate.
Growing Together
Today, that passion is a family affair. On our 10-acre homestead, you’ll find Tao, his wife, and their children working side-by-side—grafting trees, planting garlic, and harvesting elderberries. We believe that the best food comes from healthy soil and hardy plants, and we are committed to offering only the stock that we trust enough to grow for our own table. Whether you are planting your first apple tree or expanding a permaculture orchard, we are honored to help you grow.
