Shipping Seasons

We ship bare-root and dormant plants during optimal planting seasons to ensure the best success for your trees:

  • Spring Shipping: Late February through May (depending on your climate zone)
  • Fall Shipping: September through November

Orders placed outside of shipping windows will be held and shipped at the next available shipping date. You will receive an email notification when your order ships.

Shipping Methods

We ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground, depending on the size of your order. Most orders arrive within 3-7 business days after shipping.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on your location and order size. During checkout, you will see the exact shipping cost for your order. We offer:

  • Free shipping on orders over $150 (within the continental US)
  • Local pickup available at our nursery (please contact us to arrange)

Packaging

All plants are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in excellent condition:

  • Bare-root trees are wrapped in moisture-retaining material
  • Roots are kept hydrated during transit
  • Each plant is labeled with variety information and a QR code for care instructions

Shipping Restrictions

Due to agricultural regulations, we cannot ship to:

  • Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories
  • International destinations
  • California (for certain citrus varieties - check product pages for details)

Returns & Refunds

Our Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our plants. If your plants arrive damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will make it right.

Return Conditions

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we can only accept returns or issue refunds under the following conditions:

  • Damaged in transit: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage
  • Incorrect item received: Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Dead on arrival: Contact us within 48 hours with photos showing the plant condition

What We Cannot Accept

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Plants that die after planting (we provide care guides to help ensure success)
  • Plants damaged due to improper care, planting, or environmental conditions
  • Orders canceled after shipping
  • Change of mind after ordering

Refund Process

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • At our discretion, we may offer a replacement plant instead of a refund

Order Cancellations

Need to cancel your order? Contact us as soon as possible:

  • Before shipping: Full refund available
  • After shipping: Refund minus shipping costs (if package can be intercepted)
  • After delivery: See return policy above
